IRON MAIDEN

Iron maiden is a heavy metal group formed in London in 1975.

It is composted by Steve Harrys on bass, Dave Sullivan e Terry Rance on guitar, Paul Doy on voice and Ron Matthews on drums.

The name of the band was ispirated by the flim “ l’uomo della mascera di ferro”, that contained the stocks (instrument) “vergine di ferro” in inglish Iron maiden.

The music of iron maiden came from the punk but not also. This group was alternativ respect other groups like Sex pistols and Clash.

For them the scenography of their concerts was olso important as their music.They used special effect.

The band changed few times it’s conposition and the first success came with the album called Iron Maiden in 1980. They started to do concerts and tournes all over the word.  They become very famous.

In 2005 the group celebrated their 30s years from their union.

Today the Iron maiden are considered the most important group of Heavy metal.

On 10th may 2008 came the new best of digital, “somewhere back in time”, of the ‘80s-’90s, that contained some old songs from the most famous albums.
